19Th Century Pembrokeshire Side Table.

An unusual 19th century Welsh side table constructed of tropical hardwood with one large single drawer and four tapering square legs. It was quite a regular practice in South Wales to construct  furniture from towns like Milford Haven and Haverfordwest, where there were ship breakers and the timber was more robust and cheaper than Native hardwoods. the table has gained a great colour and patina over the years. Recently bought from a Welsh Farm In Pembrokeshire South Wales.
