A wonderful mid 19th century folk art miniature diorama of a ships sailing. Set in its original frame and glazing, inside two ships sailing with a lighthouse painted in the scenery. The ships are exquisitely made with wooden sails and string rigging set on a papier mache ocean. circa 1860.
